Back to Colonsay – A Few Days on the Island
I’m heading back to Colonsay for a few days as work begins on fitting a new roof to the cottage.
It’s one of those jobs that’s been in the planning for quite some time, so I’m looking forward to finally seeing it underway. I’ll be staying in the motorhome while everything progresses, making the most of another visit to one of my favourite places in Scotland.
Although I’ll be away from the main office, the writing doesn’t stop. Research notes, new book ideas and future publishing plans are all coming along for the journey. In truth, some of my best ideas have arrived while walking around the islands rather than sitting behind a desk.
Recent weeks have seen another manuscript completed, with several more already in development. There’s plenty to look forward to over the coming months, including more investigative history, true-crime titles, and fresh projects that are already beginning to take shape.
As always, thank you for your continued support. Every reader, every review and every recommendation helps independent authors continue doing what they love.
I’ll post the occasional update from Colonsay whenever I can.
Until then, take care, and happy reading.
